Well folks, Friday, Nov 14th. Tonight’s the Night. Birmingham better get ready, ’cause HalfDown Thomas is a rollin’ through!!! We’re Gonna be out at Cafe Firenze’ bringing all the Rock and Love we can muster, just for you… See, I told you we were friends

And as always, the downtime since last time has been spent wisely. In the last few months we’ve added new songs (covers and originals), new merch (girls t-shirts) and new album info (It’s not public yet, so I can’t spill it all here, but come to the gig, you might hear the latest gossip:) and of course, as much drunken debauchery as you can handle. Pretty much business as (un)usual in the HDT camp. Out of the loop? Then come hang with us at the only party in town!!! Starts @ 10, 21 and up, better be able to hold your liquor…

This time we’re bringing the Rock to you in Two Doses. First, We’re gonna be down at The Hard Rock Cafe located in the Hard Rock Hotel in Biloxi, MS on Wednesday, August 27th. For those of you who keep making excuses like “It’s too far…” or “It’s in the middle of the week…”, just let me ask you this: when was the last time you let something like distance or date keep you from having a hell of a time? Just ask the HDTFaithful that have made the trip. It’s always a party, and since summer is quickly drawing to a close, you might wanna squeeze in just a little more fun… I’m Just saying:)

But hey, we know gas prices are outrageous, and even though it’s hard for me to believe, some folks have real jobs that require them to show up and do stuff on a weekday. So we’ve put together a little something else for you that week. HDT will be out at Chestnut Station in Gadsden, AL on Saturday night, August 30th. That’s a little closer to home, AND it’s a weekend night… see we can reach a compromise here.

Either way, it’s a sure bet you’ll have a good time. Don’t believe me, then come see for yourself;)

Hey Folks, just a reminder that HDT will be out at Cafe Firenze’ in Bham this Thursday Night (the 7th). Now I know, I know… everyone has to work Friday morning. But Seriously, come on now. When was the last time you threw caution to the wind and just went out and partied on a weeknight? I mean, It is the summer. Do you really want to just let Summer ‘08 sneak on by without one single irresponsible adventure?

Well, how about we sweeten the pot? Just a little FYI, not only has HalfDown Thomas been playing new versions of the songs from our upcoming release, but last show at The Nick, we debuted a tune so new, so fresh that it hadn’t even been named before the day of the show!!! (Who knew Randy’s procrastination could be a selling point:)… and rumor has it, we’ll be doing it again.

And don’t forget, there’s new HDT shirts, a new 3 song sampler CD, and of course a night of music and fun that can only be described as ROCK!!!

So come on out, bring your friends and party with us at Cafe Firenze. At least this way when you show up to work looking like you just woke up in the back seat of your car, you’ll have a reason:)
